a one-year transformational challenge-based discipleship program surrounding the core domains of life - spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional

As a church leader do
you ever feel like

  • There aren't great resources out there to serve men?
  • You want to have a full training program you can rotate the men in your church through, but don't want to invent it or create your own?
  • The lack of maturity and the presence of apathy in the men in your church is affecting relationships and ministry?
  • You wish men in church could feel empowered, invigorated, and start a groundswell of holy spirit power and training that can serve the whole church?

Us too. That's why we created the Man Year Church Program

What is Man Year?

A 12-month challenge based discipleship program for men who want to grow and get healthy.

We’ve found there are 4 core domains of life that affect every man. Those 4 domains are:

  • SPIRITUAL
  • PHYSICAL
  • MENTAL
  • EMOTIONAL

What this 1-year program does is give a man the resources and accountability he needs to
walk through a transformational journey into health and wholeness. But that’s where you, a church leader or pastor, come in. The men in your church still need a guide. They still need support. They still need the larger church community to come alongside them.

WHAT’S IN THE PROGRAM?

01

Monthly Keynote

Start each month with a keynote that will teach on the topic you will be covering over the next four weeks.

02

Weekly Guided Homework

Specific assignments, weekly checklists, and digital guides tied directly to the monthly (and 12-week) challenge within the domain.

03

Quarterly Challenge

A challenge that you will be progressively working through with the men you are in a group with or the larger community of men within your church.

04

Domain Completion Ceremony

Every quarter the cohort will have successfully completed one of the four core domains and earned the Man Year Coin for that specific domain.

05

program completion celebration

Celebrate the deep work of transformation that the Lord has done in the lives of the men in your church. Then, raise up leaders from within the cohort that will lead the small groups of your next cohort.

5
Step 5

why you need Man Year

Most men know they have a deficit in their life. They feel the gaps in their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual lives–but they haven’t closed the gap or shown much change over the years of their life. And they want to change but there’s no path or program. They have no outlet for transformation. You can sit in church for ten years, sit in 15 Bible studies, and listen to as many podcasts as you want. And you stay the same. Why is that?

Here’s the cold hard truth. Without the content, and without the community, almost every single man will have high aspirations but fall short of almost all of them.

frequently asked questions

Can I do Man Year on my own?

No, you can't go through the program alone, but you can sign up solo and get placed in a group if needed. One of the requirements of the Man Year program is that you sign a 2-page covenant not only committing to completing the program but also committing to the brothers that you've signed up to do Man Year with. You need at least 1 other brother in your 'core group' to begin the program. However, we've created an online (virtual) option for those that need a group. Just select "virtual group" at registration and you'll be automatically placed in a core group so you can begin the journey.
